Changes to TCAC Regs Coming Next
Week |
Watch for proposed changes to the California Tax
Credit Allocation Committee regulations next week to
incorporate a commitment of $100 million from the Tax
Credit Assistance Program (TCAP) to deal with the
state's PMIB problems affecting affordable housing deals
with commitments from HCD. The provisions will apply to
deals not yet under construction that are having
difficulty securing financing because of the uncertainty
in the state's financial position. There will also
be some other "tweeks" to the regulations, according to
Bill Pavao, TCAC Director.
If you are applying for 9% tax credits, click here to see
the answers to frequently asked questions from the CTCAC
application workshops in early May. These refer to
the 2009 9% applications and ARRA funding applications
(for tax credit
exchange). |
