The campaign to help legislators understand that
Californina's housing market is broken is gearing up for
visits to legislators this fall. The
state-wide campaign is in support of the creation
of a permanent source of funding for affordable housing.
If calling on legislators doesn't appeal to you,
we could use help in identifying spokespersons
outside the industry who understand what a broken
housing market means to families, children, seniors,
healthcare and businesses in our community. We also need
people willing to send letters to the editor, call-in to
talk radio programs, help us get a website started
to tell the housing story, and speak to
community groups about the importance of fixing our
broken housing market.
