Through our extensive education efforts, SDHF works to:
Increase awareness of the need for – and value of – affordable housing for the San Diego region;
Garner widespread support for the creation of such housing; and
Train and build the capacity of the affordable housing sector.
One of the most important ways SDHF educates our members, decision-makers, and the general public about affordable housing is through our monthly and annual events. Our roundtables, mixers, Annual Conference and Institutes, and Ruby Awards are the region’s foremost resource for networking and learning about the latest affordable housing issues and trends.
We also seek to educate and engage our members and the broader public through our electronic communications, regularly speaking at community functions and extensive media outreach.
If you have questions regarding an SDHF event or would like SDHF to promote your housing-related event through our Events Calendar or online communications, please reach us below or call the San Diego Housing Federation office at 619-239-6693.
