Rental Home Stability Program Resources

In 2012, Community Housing Works (CHW) partnered with ConAm Management Corporation to develop the Rental Housing Stability Program (RHSP), an eviction prevention initiative designed to help residents remain safely housed during times of financial hardship. The RHSP is a six-month financial counseling program focused on stabilizing housing and improving financial well-being to help participants avoid legal eviction. Through personalized support, residents receive guidance and resources to address financial challenges and maintain long-term housing stability.

Recently, staff from CHW, ConAm, and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego presented information about the program. Additional resources and presentation materials are available below.

Since its launch, the program has demonstrated strong outcomes, with 65% of enrolled residents successfully remaining housed. For more information, please click here.
