January 2019: P.E.R.T. - Psychiatric Emergency Response Team

The P.E.R.T. program was established through the Community Research Foundation (CRF), HHSA, San Diego Law Enforcment, and NAMI in the early 1990's to provide effective and compassionate crisis intervention to individuals living with mental illness in the community who come into contact with law enforcement officers/deputies.
