RUN wins $1 billion ongoing for homeless housing and services!

As you all know, RUN has been pushing AB 71 through Lobby Day, phone calls, committee hearings, and follow-up visits with legislators. With the recent legislative announcement including a $1 billion ongoing budget towards homelessness, AB 71 has become a two-year bill. However, with RUN’s advocacy, the legislature recognized that this issue is important to us! The Senate and the Assembly convinced the Governor to include this ongoing funding in the budget.
